Service Delivery Terms

Service delivery:

  • Workshop sessions from 2½ hours (½ day) to 15 hours (3 days) per week

  • Up to 540 guided learning hours (GLH) per academic year.

  • Onsite DSL and deputy DSL

  • Highly qualified and industry experienced staff

  • DBS enhanced clearance for all staff

  • All full-time students will require an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan)

  • Every student's needs are bespoke at Plan B.

  • Attendance support

  • Student mentoring

  • Student and Family liaison

  • Group Sessions max class size 3/6 students 

  • EHCP Targeted Support towards outcomes

  • Teaching Carpentry, Boat Building and further skills in our vocational study workshop to Open Awards Entry 3 & Level 1

  • Applied Maths and English to functional skills Level 1

  • Introducing rowing, kayaking, paddle sports, inshore and offshore sailing and on water skills  

  • RYA (Royal Yachting Association)qualifications

 

Terms:

  • Referral form to be completed and returned for full time students

  • EHCP to be provided where applicable

  • Visits to the workshop and taster session to be undertaken before a decision is made on the provision available to the student for full-time students

  • SLA (Service Level Agreement) per term/session to be signed and returned before student/s commence provision

  • Invoices termly and to be paid in advance

  • Require parent/guardian paperwork to be completed before provision commences for full-time students
